Sponsorship Opportunities for the Bournemouth Christmas Market
We invite you to consider sponsorship of the 2010 Bournemouth Christmas Market a successful festive event which takes place in the Town Square from 18th November until 2nd January 2011.
Please see our Sponsorship Proposal document which spells out what the 2010 Bournemouth Christmas Market comprises and shows how you might get involved. You can align your name with individual elements or the whole show and benefit from the positive image the community event projects or huge exposure to around 200,000 visitors.
From having your company name or advertising promotion displayed on signage, to sponsoring the stage shows or community events such as a school choir competition or the Christmas Lights “Switch On” or having the exclusive naming rights to the whole event there is a suitably priced package available for most budgets. All revenues from the sponsorship will be used to maintain the high standards of the attractions at the market this year and in future years.

Entertainment
Festive fun for all the family throughout the Bournemouth Christmas Market period is assured with traditional brass bands, carol singing, festive entertainment some weekdays and most weekends courtesy of local choir groups, entertainers and a school choir competition. All performances will be on a specifically built stage in the Bournemouth Square. For a full update of performers, dates and times, visit our website. There will be a purpose built stage built in the square for the this year's entertainment.
School Choir Competition
S & D Leisure Organisation Ltd will be hosting a school choir competition at the 2010 Christmas Market. The Competition is free to enter and applications for the competition can be downloaded from this website.
The Competition will be held in Bournemouth Square during the Bournemouth Christmas Markets on a purpose built stage.
The first date of the competition will be 24th November 2010 and depending on the number of entrants will be held on a weekly basis.
The runners up will be invited to return for the semi final on 8th December 2010 and the final of the Competition will be held on 15th December 2010
Prizes:
The first prize will be a £300.00 donation to the winning school by S & D Leisure Ltd
The second prize will be a £200.00 donation to the school by S & D Leisure Ltd
The third prize will be a £100.00 donation to the school by S & D Leisure Ltd
All entrants must be between the ages of 6 and 18 years of age and a parental consent form must be completed for every child in the competition. Please see terms and conditions for further details.

List of Entertainment booked for 2010
Religious Pageant
This annual Religious Pageant is organised by Bournemouth Churches, Bournemouth Deanery and in association with Hope FM, a local Christian community radio station, in conjunction with the YMCA. The pageant consists of a costumed tableau depicting the traditional nativity scene, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, the essence of the Christian festival of Christmas. The spectacular parade will take place on Saturday 11th December 2010. The final destination will be the Lower Gardens where a religious service will be held. For more details visit www.hopefm.com

A traditional static Nativity Scene will be on display throughout the Christmas Market period. Situated in The Lower Gardens opposite the Balloon Ticket Office.

Christmas Lights Switch On
Don’t miss the spectacular switching on of the festive lights. There’ll be fun for all the family with entertainment from Heart FM and the official “Switch On". look out for the surprise celebrities!
Traditional Family Fun
What’s more traditional than a Victorian Gallopers style carousel for festive fun for all the family? Step back in time and enjoy the simple pleasures of our yesteryears on this amazing fairground attraction, located in the Town Square.

Giant Snow Slide
For the more energetic family members teh ginat snow slide presenst an exciting distraction from the shopping, slide down the snow slope on a mat.
Photos with Santa
Santa and his Reindeer will be visiting the Bournmeouth Christmas Market and there will be the opportunity to have your photo taken on the stage during his visits. Santa is very busy this time of year so we have had to book him early for his photo shoot. Dates of when Santa will be on stage are below. Photos with Santa are:
- £7.00 presented in a glass frame
- £12.50 with Santa and his real Reindeer presented in a glass frame.
Stage Hire:
Fully Mobile HGV Stage Unit
This show rig Mobile Stage is a fully transportable self contained stage unit and comes complete with an OHM TRS sound system and lighting . The area of the stage is appx 50 square metres.
The unit can be assembled within on hour and is secured at closed periods by the flick of a switch.
The stage can be hired for outdoor events at home or abroad and is available for £1,500 per day, discount is available for longer hire periods.
Sound System
The OHMS TRS system is designed for live sound on the move. The TRS-218 is a dual 18" sub bass unit which will fatihfully produce the most powerful bass-lines and the TRS-212 is a long throw mid-high cabint renowned for its clarity and hi-fidelity. The system is driven by OHMs DSP lightweight amplifiers and the TRS-112 monitors complete the line up. The TRS system is madde in Cheshire and used all around the world in live venues, dance clubs and on the road.
